Our Design Firm
Kris Nunn Curated Design is a Montana-based interior design and interior architecture firm creating thoughtfully curated homes throughout Bozeman, Big Sky, and beyond. Every project begins with a simple belief: your home should reflect your life, your story, and the people who gather there.
As a full-service design firm, we partner with homeowners, architects, and builders from the earliest stages of planning through the final installation. Whether designing a new residence, guiding a renovation, or reimagining an existing home, our role is to thoughtfully curate each part of the design, while enhancing your vision every step of the way.
Design, for us, has never been about creating homes that simply look beautiful. It is about creating places where families celebrate milestones, children grow up, friends gather around the kitchen island, and everyday moments become lasting memories. We believe the most meaningful homes are those that feel effortless to live in because every detail has been considered with intention, care, and the people who call it home at the center of every decision. That is curated design.

For Kris Nunn, design has never been just about beautiful interiors—it has always been about people.
Her career has taken her through nearly every facet of the design industry, giving her a perspective that extends well beyond residential interiors. From developing and manufacturing her own furniture line for a High Point showroom in North Carolina's renowned High Point Furniture Market to consulting with Fortune 500 companies on product development, design market strategy, and point-of-purchase displays for the home furnishings industry, Kris has spent decades understanding not only how beautiful spaces come together, but also how the products within them are conceived, crafted, and experienced.
That breadth of experience allows her to see the bigger picture. She understands construction, materials, craftsmanship, manufacturing, and the countless decisions that shape a home long before the furnishings arrive. Today, she brings that knowledge to every project, helping clients navigate the design process with confidence while collaborating closely with architects, builders, and skilled artisans.
But if you ask her clients what makes working with Kris different, they rarely begin by talking about color palettes or furniture selections.
They talk about feeling heard.
They describe someone who listens before she designs, who brings calm to complex decisions, and who genuinely cares about creating a home that reflects their lives rather than her own style. They often describe their finished homes as feeling thoughtfully curated, deeply personal, and even more beautiful than they had imagined—while remembering the experience of creating them just as fondly as the finished result.
That is intentional.
Kris believes the best design comes from relationships built on trust, collaboration, and kindness. She approaches every project with patience, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand what matters most to the people she serves. Her role is not simply to make design decisions, but to guide, advocate, and thoughtfully curate every detail on behalf of her clients so they can enjoy the process as much as the home itself.
The result is more than a beautifully designed residence. It is a home that feels welcoming, authentic, deeply personal, and ready to become the backdrop for life's most meaningful moments.
